Nicholas Rodriguez recently completed the National Tour of The Sound of Music, directed by Jack O'Brien, playing ‘Captain Georg Von Trapp’. He starred on Broadway in Tarzan and at Carnegie Hall in Guys and Dolls. Mr. Rodriguez has sung with symphony orchestras throughout North America and has also starred in National Tours of Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita & Hair. He received critical acclaim for his turn as ‘Billy Bigalow’ in Carousel, as well as Destiny of Desire, Mother Courage and Her Children, and a Helen Hayes Award for his portrayal of ‘Curly’ in Oklahoma! Other productions include My Fair Lady, Light in the Piazza, The Ten Commandments, Beauty and the Beast, Wizard of Oz, The Buddy Holly Story, Mothers and Sons, Les Misérables, Master Class, South Pacific, and The King and I. He appeared in Sex in the City II and is also on the soundtrack. His television credits include: Madam Secretary, Nick Chavez on ABC’s One Life to Live.
